I also second using eyeshadow instead of a pencil. As we get older, I think it’s best to make everything softly focused, instead of the harsh line of a pencil or liquid liner. I use the eyeshadow dry for a softer look, with a primer so they stay put. My favorites are Nars and Dior. For drugstore, I think NYX’s mattes are identical in quality to MAC (but not the satin or shimmer formulas.)
